Overview
StowLedger is designed with privacy in mind. Your expense data and receipt images are stored on your device first. We do not require an account on iOS; you can optionally enable iCloud or Sign in with Apple to sync across your Apple devices. On Android, sign-in with Google is used for sync and backup.
Data we store
- On device: Expenses, categories, budgets, receipt images, and app settings are stored locally.
- If you enable sync: Data may be stored in iCloud (iOS) or Firebase (Android) under your account for backup and cross-device sync.
Data we do not sell
We do not sell your personal data or expense information to third parties. Analytics, if used, are anonymized and used only to improve the app.
Your choices
You can disable sync at any time. You can delete the app and local data. For synced data, you can manage or delete it via your iCloud, Apple ID, or Google account settings.
